No. We utilize a technology called webRTC which enables you to send and receive calls directly from our web based portal.

Our platform makes it possible for you to request and assign toll-free or local numbers directly from the Clientain portal on an as needed basis. If the phone number is no longer needed, simply delete it and so you no longer have to pay for it.

Once you log into the portal, you will have the functionality to obtain HTML code that you can embed on your website. After, you should be able to see the Chat icon on your webpage. Visitors to your website will be able to send chat messages and you can respond through the Clientain portal.

In order to port a number from your existing carrier to a SIP carrier that Clientain has partnered with, you will need to fill out a Letter of Authorization (LoA). After, it takes about 2-4 weeks to port your phone number over from your existing carrier to your new carrier.

Absolutely! We can set you up to receive calls and SMS messages on the same phone number. Alternatively, if you need to receive calls and SMS messages on separate numbers, we can set that up as well.
